Like. I’m a firm believer that porn online shouldn’t be within kids reach (those “are you 18” checkboxes for life) but. Like. Ok first of all, just ban cp? It’s not hard? Cp is what got you into this mess just ban it. Second of all, you could increase the age of sign-up from 13 to 18. Third of all, you could do what deviantart does and just. Require birthdays at sign-up. If your blog is flagged as nsfw, you can’t interact with minors. You want to follow an nsfw blog? Prove you’re an adult. You’re an adult but don’t want to see nsfw content? Safe search (that actually works).
It’s not hard to make a functioning website, but staff doesn’t seem to want to do that.

any of yall who agree with the nsfw ban keep in mind: they aren’t doing it to keep the minors safe or to get rid of pedophiles. they’re doing it because they wanna be back on the app store. they give less than a shit about their userbase and dont think for even one second that there are good intentions behind this ban

staff You are recommending that I follow a nazi blog I blocked last night. Your site promotes anti-semitism to Jews. Your site shoves Nazi Swastikas in the faces of Jews. It’s bad enough that the Nazi blogs seem to be sprouting up like weeds on a site that claims to have an anti-hate policy, but to actively promote them to people who have taken the steps of blocking these blogs is beyond the pale. Clean this place up. It’s turning into Stormfront.
I encourage everyone who sees this post, Jewish or otherwise, to reblog it. Tumblr has been ignoring the growth of Nazism on this site for too long. It needs to end.(via sleepywsha)

Right now my living situation is a lot better, and my parents are starting to come around, but I do need to save up for top surgery + bottom surgery in the future (I think my insurance will cover top surgery but defo not bottom surgery gdfhgsgfd and my bottom dysphoria is . awful.. and i defo plan on having it done in the future)
